LSV1 Ballasting Program
The Large Scale Vehicle (LSV1) KOKANEE Ballasting Program was developed by Cabin Software to replace a previous Clipper version that was becoming too hard to use on newer PC Systems. This program was developed for the Navy's one-quarter scale submarine model that is used for testing.
The basic function of the program is to total up all weight and moment changes for the model prior to submerged operations, to include compressibility and water density, and compute a lead and/or trim tank change to ensure proper ballasting at depth.
