Upgrade Patch 1 Overview
Upgrade patch 1 fixes currently reported bugs and adds improvements in the following areas:
| The Species Screen has been expanded to include more multiple sex-linked alleles. This addition has allowed us to add a Species file for the Peachfaced Lovebird. We also added a sixth sex-linked variety. |
| Since all you need enter to create a new species record is a species name and incubation period, we moved the Incubation text entry box from the first Options Tab to the top of the screen next to the species name for easy record creation. |
| The Species Screen has also been expanded to include Show Standards inputs for each Species. |
| The Show Awards Screen has been expanded to include Show Standard ratings. The Show Standards are fed to the Show Awards Screen from the Species database that receives inputs from the Species Screen. |
| We have added a pop-up dialog box to the Species Screen for restoring default Species settings. This is required for us to expand the number of Species files. |
| A button has been added to the Breeding Records Screen that will check the currently displayed Male and Female for common ancestry through the previous four generations and report where the commonality exists. |
| The terminology replacement function of the Species Screen has been enhanced to remove some situational limitations that were discovered while working the Canary Species file addition. |
