Upgrade Patch 2.4 Overview

This upgrade will only work on PCs that have a registered copy of Bird Tracker for Windows already installed. Registered users of Bird Tracker for Windows should download the patch to their PC and then double-click the BTupg24.exe file.  Follow the instructions on the set-up installation screens and be sure to install the patch to your current Bird Tracker application folder; this folder should come up by default during the set-up process.  When done, you are ready to continue maintaining your records. 

Version 2.4 includes all previous upgrade patches (Upgrade Patch 1 , Upgrade Patch 2a, Upgrade Patch 3, Upgrade Patch 4, Upgrade Patch 5a, Upgrade Patch 6 , Upgrade Patch 7, Upgrade Patch 8, Version 2.0, Upgrade Patch 2.1, Upgrade Patch 2.2, and Upgrade Patch 2.3) plus provides improvements in the following areas:

• Added another tab to the Products & Services Screen for taking orders.  There are several reports available from it to view outstanding and completed orders.
• Added a Desired Quantity text box to the Products Screen for noting the desired quantity of an item you would like to keep in inventory.  A new report was also added for noting products that are below the desired quantity.
• Added the ability to reactivate Flock Records from the archives.
• Added a Parent Raised field to the Flock Records screen.
• Added the ability to note the normal (expected) blood work values for each species.  A button was added to the Species Screen for entering the values.  The entered values will display in brackets in the first column of the Blood Work grid on the Flock Records Screen.
• Added a group emailing function to both the Contacts and Invoices Grid View Screens.
• Added an Incubation Screen to the program.
• Added a button to the Breeding Screen to send egg information to the Incubation Screen.
• Added a report to the Flock Screen for charting Body Weight.  This report receives its information from examination records.
• Added a file link to the Reference Screen.  You can add the link to the screen and double click the text box to open the file with the associated application.
• Added an Excel Export function to all Grid View Screens.
• Added mailing labels to the Contacts Grid View Screen.
• Fixed problem with Nest Box reports failing to print if a previous round had no eggs.
