Upgrade Patch 2.6 Overview

This upgrade will only work on PCs that have a registered copy of Bird Tracker for Windows already installed. Registered users of Bird Tracker for Windows should download the patch to their PC and then double-click the BTupg2601.exe file.  Follow the instructions on the set-up installation screens and be sure to install the patch to your current Bird Tracker application folder; this folder should come up by default during the set-up process.  When done, you are ready to continue maintaining your records. 

Version 2.6 includes all previous upgrade patches (Upgrade Patch 1 , Upgrade Patch 2a, Upgrade Patch 3, Upgrade Patch 4, Upgrade Patch 5a, Upgrade Patch 6 , Upgrade Patch 7, Upgrade Patch 8, Version 2.0, Upgrade Patch 2.1, Upgrade Patch 2.2, Upgrade Patch 2.3, Upgrade Patch 2.4 and Upgrade Patch 2.5) plus provides improvements in the following areas:

• A Boarding Screen has been added to the program to track birds that you temporarily house and their owners.  It is integrated with the Invoice Screen for easy billing.

• The Schedule section will show all birds and their location assignment. Click on a text box of the grid to view the full content directly above the grid (in the yellow box).

• A date text box has been added to the Photo Screen.  For those birds with multiple photos, the Photo report will now be ordered by date in ascending order.

Follow-on updates to this patch:
Patch 2.601
- Expanded the Boarding Screen to include Breeding Loaners by adding a Status selection, Sex field and Breeding Loaner Contract report.  Also, added Contract Name and Filing location to the Options Screen. 
- Corrected the program crash problem associated with clicking the Grooming - Wing check box or clicking the Next Week button when no records exist on the Boarding Screen.

Patch 2.602
- Added Ringneck Dove to the Species Screen default species.
- On the Grid View screens, press the enter key to go to a selected record on the grid or to Find a column value.
- Added "Maturity Date Not Reached" flag below the bird's age on the Flock Members Screen.  This flag only appears if a maturity date is entered for the bird's species and has not yet been achieved.
- Added a Purchase report to the Invoice Grid View Screen that will list all items for each invoice purchase.  This report can also be called up from the Reports Screen when "Invoice Reports" is selected.
- Added additional date fields to the Boarding Screen for noting date of lab work and vaccines.
- Added Excel export ability to the Examination and Blood Work grids of the Flock Members Screen.
- Fixed a problem with the Breeding Screen not finding birds when you go to Setup Breeding from the Breeding Assistant Screen.

Patch 2.603
- Fixed margins being too narrow on the Genetics view/edit screen.
- The bird profile popup screen of the Breeding Assistant Screen can now be customized.

Patch 2.604
- Added "Hatch Assisted" as a status option on the Egg Status grid of the Breeding Records Screen. 
- Fixed breeding statistics reports to account for eggs that are incubating and those designated as hatch assisted.
- Add several new defaults to the Options Screen for automatically creating sequential invoice numbers when creating a new invoice record.
- Some PCs are creating .tmp files in the root directory when opening an invoice report.  These .tmp files are now destroyed when the application is closed.
