Upgrade Patch 3 Overview
Upgrade patch 3 includes all previous upgrade patches (Upgrade Patch 1 and Upgrade Patch 2a) plus provides improvements in the following areas:
| Seventy-three (73) new Species Files, complete with genetic mutations, are being added to the program. |
| The Report Screen has been expanded to include 10 new report formats that provide detailed or summary information on breeding results. These reports seamlessly display both current and archived information for the periods specified. Each report displays quantitative information to assist in the management of your aviary. |
| An additional field has been added to the Species Screen for noting when a hatchling should be banded. We set 7 days as a default for all species. You should edit this number based upon species, band size, etc. |
| An additional button has been added to the Egg Status grid view that works with the Species Banding Period to display Hatchlings Due for Banding as of the current date. |
| Added the selected bird's sex to the Family Tree printout. |
| The Genetics Tutorial has been updated and expanded. A section on intragenic complementation and crossover has been added. |
