Version 2.0 Overview
This upgrade will only work on PCs that have a registered copy of Bird Tracker for Windows already installed. Registered users of Bird Tracker for Windows should download the patch to their PC and then double-click the BTupg20.exe file. Follow the instructions on the set-up installation screens and be sure to install the patch to your current Bird Tracker application folder; this folder should come up by default during the set-up process. When done, you are ready to continue maintaining your records.
To add a new species provided with this or previous upgrades, go to the Species Screen, click the Open Defaults Selection Menu button, click the desired species on the dialog box, then click the OK button. You are now ready to use the new species.
Version 2.0 includes all previous upgrade patches (Upgrade Patch 1 , Upgrade Patch 2a, Upgrade Patch 3, Upgrade Patch 4, Upgrade Patch 5a, Upgrade Patch 6 , Upgrade Patch 7 and Upgrade Patch 8) plus provides improvements in the following areas:
| A new database on the backside. |
| The Band Number field has been increased from a maximum of 15 characters to 20 on all screens. |
| A Search Screen has been added to the program. |
| A caption can be added to printouts of Grid View Screens. |
| An Account Screen has been added to the program for tracking your checking and credit card expenditures. This screen includes a reconciling function. |
| A vendor and category drop down list has been added to the Expenditure Screen. In addition, we added a Tax text box as well as an Account text box and Posted check box that work with the newly added Account Screen. |
| You now have the option of printing a blank or filled-in Nest Box Card. |
| Payment and Balance has been added to the Invoice Screen. |
| Added Dominant Yellowface mutation to the default Cockatiel species. |
